To ensure seamless access to scheduling, studio updates, billing details, online materials, practice logs, and communication history, each of my students has personalized access to the “My Music Staff” (MMS) service, making life easier for both them and myself.
Here's what you need to do to get started and ensure smooth access to all MMS resources:
1. Add Contact: Add Karen@LeckySpringerMusic.com as an email address in your contacts. This ensures that important studio emails regarding scheduling, billing, etc., won't get lost in your spam folder.
2. Bookmark: Save the Student Portal page in your computer, tablet, and smartphone browsers for quick and easy access.
3. Invitation: When lesson scheduling begins, you'll receive an invitation to log in to my MMS site. Once you've received the invite and successfully logged in, double-check that the calendar aligns with your expectations. If not, please let me know so I can correct my mistake!
4. Profile Settings: Explore your profile settings by clicking on your name in the top-right corner of the Portal. Feel free to upload a profile photo that resonates with you to enhance your Portal experience!
5. Payment Preferences: While logged in as a parent (or adult student), you can save your preferred payment method(s) and opt for Auto Pay for future invoices.

Upon logging into the Student Portal, you'll have access to:

Profile Settings: Easily manage your profile details, including uploading a profile picture, updating contact information, and changing your password.
Calendar: View your upcoming lessons and available time slots for additional or makeup sessions.
Contact Info: Handy reminders on how to reach me whenever needed.
Attendance & Notes: Access and respond to notes from past lessons.
Lending Library: Conveniently track any resources borrowed from me.
Online Resources: Access a plethora of useful worksheets, audio files, and other materials for your practice sessions.
Practice Log: Finally, an easy way to monitor your practice sessions and celebrate your progress! You can even email your notes and questions directly to me for timely assistance.
Repertoire: Keep a record of your favorite pieces as you explore and master new music.
Email History: Easily retrieve any emails sent from my studio.
PARENT FUNCTIONS
For parents (and adult students), the Portal offers additional functionalities:
Calendar: Get a comprehensive view of your family’s upcoming lessons and available slots for make-up sessions.
Profile Settings: Manage contact preferences and scheduling permissions for your entire household, and set up automatic payments by saving credit card or bank account details.
Account & Invoices: Access and settle all invoices associated with your household.
Attendance & Notes: Review attendance records and notes from teachers for any student within your household.
Practice Log: View practice records for any student within your household.
Email History: Review all emails sent from my studio to any student in your household.
A NOTE ON AUTO PAY
Auto Pay is the most efficient way to ensure seamless payments and avoid any unpaid lesson fees. I highly recommend setting up this feature in MMS when registering for lessons. Your account will be charged on the day that the invoice is generated—by default, this is 1 day prior to the actual due date of the first of the month.
Should you prefer a different draft date for payments, feel free to inform me, and I'll customize it accordingly, between zero and 30 days prior to the due date.
